ArchLinux 2012.12.01 インストール手順。

とりあえず、USBにisoを焼く。

# dd bs=4M if=/path/to/archlinux.iso of=/dev/sdb

USBからブートしたら、キーボードのレイアウト変えよう。うちのはUSだからしなくてよい。

cfdiskでわける。ぼくはこんなかんじ。

# cfdisk
  • /dev/sda1 boot 100MB
  • /dev/sda2 / else
  • /dev/sda3 swap 2000MB

swapは、Linux/swapにすること。
次にフォーマット

# mkfs.ext2 /dev/sda1
# mkfs.ext4 /dev/sda2
# mkswap /dev/sda3
# swapon /dev/sda3

マウントする。

# mount /dev/sda2 /mnt
# mkdir /mnt/boot
# mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/boot

base base-develのインストール

# pacstrap /mnt base base-devel

grubいれる

# pacstrap /mnt grub-bios

fstab する。

# genfstab -p /mnt >> /mnt/etc/fstab

chroot

# arch-chroot /mnt

いろいろ設定する。

# echo "yuma" >> /etc/hostname
# ln -s /usr/share/zoneinfo/Asia/Tokyo /etc/localtime
# vi /etc/locale.gen
# locale-gen
Generating locales...
  eb_US.UTF-8... done
Generation complete.
# locale > /etc/locale.conf
# mkinitcpio -p linux
# grub-install --recheck --debug /dev/sda
# grub-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
# passwd
Enter new UNIX password:
Retype new UNIX password:
passwd: password updated successfully
# swapon -s
# pacman -S net-tools
# exit
# reboot

そしたらrootで入る。

# ifconfig -a
# ifconfig eth0 up
# dhcpcd
# useradd -m -g users -G audio,disk,floppy,locate,games,lp,network,optical,power,storage,sys,uucp,video,wheel
# chfn tomoki
# passwd tomoki
# pacman -S vim sudo
# visudo
... %wheel ALL=(ALL) ALL のコメントを外す
# exit

普通のユーザーでログイン。

$ sudo pacman -S alsa-utils
$ sudo pacman -S xorg-server xorg-xinit xorg-server-utils mesa xf86-input-synaptics
//グラボ
$ lspci | grep VGA
$ sudo pacman -S xf86-video-intel xf86-video-ati
$ sudo pacman -S xorg-twm xorg-xclock xterm
$ cp /etc/skel/.xinitrc ~/.xinitrc
$ vim ~/.xinitrc

exec twm
をたす。
$ startx

あとは色々ググってやる。以下は自分の設定。

$ sudo pacman -S i3-wm i3status
$ vim ~/.xinitrc
exec i3
にする。
$ sudo pacman -S wicd wicd-gtk terminal zsh tmux
$ sudo pacman -S parcellite xfce4-notifyd xscreensaver volumeicon feh xcompmgr xfce4-powermanager thunar
# systemctl stop network
# systemctl stop dhcpcd
# systemctl stop NetworkManager
# systemctl start wicd
# systemctl enable wicd.service
$ sudo vim /etc/pacman.conf
[archlinuxfr]
Server = http://repo.archlinux.fr/$arch
を追加
$ sudo pacman -Sy yaourt
$ sudo yaourt -S dropbox skype chromium flashplugin 
$ vim .i3/config
$ echo "blacklist pcspkr" | sudo tee /etc/modprobe.d/nobeep.conf
